Booking
How a Gauntlet booking works.
We work by appointment only. Each artist opens books periodically and accepts enquiries by email. Here's the full path from idea to chair.
Booking path
- 01
Pick your artist
Read each artist's page. Their style decides who's right for the piece you're imagining.
- 02
Watch for books-open
Subscribe to the newsletter, and follow each artist on Instagram. Both channels announce openings.
- 03
Email your enquiry
Send a clear reference deck, placement, approximate size, and dates that work for you.
- 04
Confirm with a deposit
Once your artist confirms, the deposit secures the appointment and comes off the final price.
Per-artist enquiries
Each artist takes their own enquiries.
The studio doesn't have a centralized booking calendar. Books open on each artist's own schedule and they manage their own deck of enquiries. The fastest path is the artist's Instagram or the studio newsletter.

What to send
A good enquiry, in five lines.
Strong enquiries get answered first. The clearer your reference and placement, the easier it is for your artist to quote and schedule.
01 · The piece
Describe the tattoo in two sentences. Subject, mood, colour or black & grey.
02 · Reference
Attach 3 to 8 reference images. Pinterest boards welcome.
03 · Placement + size
Where on the body, and roughly how big (in cm or inches).
04 · Availability
A few dates that would work for you, including weekday vs weekend preference.
05 · About you
First-time tattoo? Existing pieces nearby? Anything we should know.
Newsletter
Be first to know when an artist opens books.
Once a month at most. Just the books-open announcements and a note when something at the studio changes.
